Here’s my most recent production reel, which highlights all of my work experience. It’s edited to show off technique as well as graphic skill. All cartoons courtesy TOONOCRACY and its animators.

ANIMATION
FLAGON
CREATOR / WRITER / DIRECTOR
This is my first experience creating a webseries from beginning to end. I wrote the material, had final say on the art design and animation, directed the actors, and produced the season through TOONOCRACY. Our schedule was extremely tight, creating one episode each month. From this I learned about the animation pipeline and have a much better understanding how long it takes to get a show from concept to completion, and everything that’s involved.
TOOLS USED: Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere.
FAT NERD HIT SQUAD
WRITER / VOICE ACTOR
I was asked to write a raunchy comedy for TOONOCRACY. I also provided my voice to one of the characters. It was a fun little experiment to see if I could go from something for all ages like FLAGON to something that you might find on ADULT SWIM. Turns out I can bring it.

TEQUILA TAE KWON DO
WRITER
Similarly to FAT NERD HIT SQUAD, the idea was to write something weird enough for late night ADULT SWIM. The script was used as a basis for the actors, who then took their own spin on it. The results are weird.

SAUSAGE SCHOOL
WRITER
I got a huge kick out of AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE in college, so this was my response to it. Joked with my animator friend about bro sausages and we riffed on it for 13 episodes. The kids on YouTube hated it, but the humor was intentionally dry and trollish – the premise being that mostly nothing ever happens.

EDITING & GRAPHICS
I take on a lot of editing and graphics projects to improve my skills with Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects. You can see a bunch of these projects in the reel I have embedded at the top of the page. Some things I was not cleared to include so I will just post a screencap and an explanation in this section.
AFTER THE HYPE
CO-HOST / VIDEO CONTENT / GRAPHICS
I did the nifty intro in front of all our video content, which I also filmed and edited.
COLLECTORS CAFE
PRODUCER / EDITOR / GRAPHICS
During my time at Collectors Cafe, I had to produce roughly four pieces of content a week (two short informative pieces, and two long form interviews). Within that I was in charge of producing the graphics and text on screen, as well as any background assets on set.
This science fiction scene was created in After Effects and utilized extrusion to make 3D text. There were camera and lighting effects, as well as transparencies and overlays to give a moving effect to the background.
Part of the same video. I created a collage of images in After Effects, and then tracked a camera along them with some basic lighting effects.
Used motion-tracking in After Effects to “attach” the names to the guests on our show, and “track” it along their movement path. Camera and lighting effects to angle and accentuate the text.

BLOGGING
I don’t blog at the same frequency that I used to. Part of this is my video editing focus. As a writer, I pop in time to time with some weird ideas and I try them out on my blog. Here are a few. Just click on the image to see the good stuff.

SOCIAL MEDIA
I spend a lot of time on social media, and consider it an important part of my daily schedule. For a few months I challenged myself to learn the business end of social media and worked for few companies in their social media departments.
ANIMEME
A majority of my time with ANIMEME was scheduling posts throughout the day so the admins could gather insight for future campaigns.
TOONOCRACY
Scheduling posts, gathering information for campaigns, creating engagement.
SAUSAGE SCHOOL
Scheduling posts, gathering information for campaigns, creating engagement.

SET EXPERIENCE
I did some independent set work to help with friends and colleagues.
I’ll Be Your Sailor
dir. Hannah Rosner
SCRIPT SUPERVISOR
Conferred with director to ensure set continuity in each scene. Took photos of the set. Kept track of each shot and take and took notes during performance to ensure actors kept to their mark and that each shot was framed correctly with each camera change. Referred to script when questions and concerns on set arose.
Providence
dir. Jordan Melcher
BOOM OPERATOR/GRIP/PA
Worked in tandem with the DP, using the boom to route sound into the camera’s mixer. Assisted with set construction and set takedown. Worked with Art Department.
We Will Die Alone Together
dir. Mario Valdivieso
SOUND RECORDER/BOOM OPERATOR/GRIP
Recorded audio on location for production and assisted the key grip with setup. Worked in tandem with the DP to get shots with optimum sound quality.
